Prepare the Work Area
Work in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors, to avoid inhaling fumes from the heating process.
Heat the Vinyl
Begin by using a heat gun or a hairdryer with a heat gun attachment. The heat softens the adhesive, making it easier to peel off. Keep the heat source moving to avoid overheating and damaging the paint.
Peel Off the Vinyl
Once the vinyl is heated, carefully, slowly, and steadily peel back the vinyl film. Pulling too hard or fast can damage the underlying paint.
